This vision of the figure decomposing old〰️and ancient〰️pain and trauma around family, abuse, childbirth, and lost connection to land was seen in a dream at the beginning of quarantine in March. ⋒ My body finally had the space, time and rest to deeply heal some some chronic issues embedded in my sacral/root sphere. ⋒ You could say this painting is autobiographical, but also an offering and prayer to the world 🏹 that we decompose the root of our ills so we can grow new things.
