STEAM RESPONSIVENESS
Indirect Effect
HOW DOES IT WORK?
It is common for menstrual cycle-related digestive issues (like nausea and vomiting) to improve after steaming. Steam itself is not considered the main reason for this, although, indirectly, it seems to be a helpful factor.
Since there is a known connection between the uterus and the stomach, steaming may end up having an indirect improvement on digestive issues by improving the circulation to the uterus.
Steam also helps to improve circulation to the entire abdomen which may help to improve overall digestive function.
Another factor to consider might be herbs. If herbs with digestive properties are used in a steam formula it may be possible that those herbal properties are absorbed into the bloodstream positively impacting digestion.
FOOD THERAPY FOR WEAK DIGESTION

Some people have success with fermented foods and/or Kombucha
