I began as a photographer who processed all my own images and then switched to oil painting when I craved color but had no access to color processing.

The painting portfolio below is small but spans the progression of my exploration beginning in 1997.

I have always been painting. When I was working with a camera I was sketching for paintings. When I work tending plants in gardens I’m sketching for paintings. Alternately, when I paint I’m doing healing work in the physical and psychic realms.
