Is Pelvic Steaming ok to do? Will it Hurt Me?
You may have encountered people that talk about yoni/vaginal steaming as the best new trend without having any evidence to back it up…or people, even Doctors, that say it is dangerous for you because it can cause severe burns or infections who may have some anecdotal evidence, but there is still the question of who to trust, and where is the evidence?
Both are emphatically sharing their opinions and causing confusion. So what are the facts???
In my courses at the Peristeam Hydrotherapy Institute, I continually study the science of pelvic steaming. It’s best practice for anyone who works with the body and plant medicine to continue to study, as both are constantly evolving natural systems, and there will always be more to learn!
Below are articles demonstrating the effectiveness of pelvic steaming. It’s possible that reading them will speak to your worries and doubts. Many include real case studies. At this link is the PELVIC STEAM DATABASE there you will find testimonial after testimonial on the benefits of pelvic steaming compiled by the Peristeam Hydrotherapy Institute.
I don’t have any testimonials in writing regarding male-at-birth pelvic steaming, but many facilitators and hydrotherapists share success stories within the community. So please ask if this is something you are looking for, as I do have experience with this.
Enjoy!

“This story is two fold so bear with ya girl. Part 1
I had BV a handful of times over the course of maybe 5 years. Then BV decided it wanted to live with me and had been trying to take over my entire existence for a good two and half years.
