Tulsi is a harmonizing herb that balances emotion and physical tension. It is also uplifting, clearing, and grounding. Some find it very relaxing and prefer sipping a tulsi infusion in the evening to clear away the day’s tensions. Some find it grounding to anxious nerves, making it helpful to begin the day with a cup, yet any time of day tulsi has a mood-boosting effect that I call uplifting, like a hug. Rose tends to the emotional heart, fortifying places where sadness and grief dwell, helping us hold those as we go about our day. Rose works quietly, softening the release of sadness and grief, transmuting it into feelings of love. Cinnamon is the warming and familiar ingredient in this blend rounding out the herbal, fruity, and balsamic flavors of tulsi and rose. Cinnamon and tulsi can also help ease digestion and stimulate the blood to ward off viruses and headaches. I drink a lot of this tea in the winter.

*My favorite sugar-free sweetener is 3-5 drops of Stevia glycerite (Steviaclear) by Sweet Leaf. This is not an endorsement! I find this to be the best-tasting stevia plant infusion on the market, and when you use just a tiny bit you don’t get that cloying over-sweet stevia taste.
