Unwind and Digest herbal tea is crafted to support emotional and physical digestion. Digesting the day’s energies, interactions, stresses and food is the key to being able to fully relax our body and mind. This is the prep or ground-ing work for a good night’s sleep.

Lemon Balm, the star of this blend, is gently calming to the nerves without causing drowsiness. People say this blend is very relaxing and it’s no surprise because it works directly on the nervous system via the vagus nerve and digestive system by relaxing tension there, and the vasculature system via the heart. Chamomile the main flower in this blend acts in these same ways, with the addition of having anti-inflammatory actions in the GI tract. These two work beautifully together. Oat Straw provides calcium and magnesium and also supports the production and circulation of hormones via the endocrine system promoting a re-balancing after situations where our stress hormones are released. Milky Oats (the tops of the oat straw, harvested in their “milky” stage when the medicine is most potent) as an infusion have mild a sedative action and is known as the exhaustion and burnout remedy.

* Please note: if you are allergic to the daisy family of flowers then Chamomile is NOT for you.

Before use, exercise caution if you are taking medications, pregnant, or nursing.

*My favorite sugar-free sweetener is 3-5 drops of Stevia glycerite (Steviaclear) by Sweet Leaf. This is not an endorsement! I find this to be the best-tasting stevia plant infusion on the market, and when you use just a tiny bit you don’t get that cloying over-sweet stevia taste.
